The changes I was planning to make to the website may now have to wait a while. Up until recently I was running a dodgy version of Windows 7, which has ended up coming round and biting me on the ass because yesterday it decided it no longer wanted to work or function in any way at all. Luckily for me I have everything backed up however without use of my normal programs it’d be more effort than its worth to carry out the updates.
In the meantime I have just plugged my main hard drive into the family computer and am working from there, although the set up I currently have is far from ideal. The case only has 1 hard drive bay and the power supply for the hard drive doesn’t stretch far enough for me to leave the hard drive laying on the case floor for now, but it does the job and is no means permanant. I should have some form of Linux up and running on my usual machine soon anyway, and I might even give this computer a quick clean out judging by the dusty state of it.
I’m not really sure what happened to my old blog, I think O just neglected it about six months and didn’t update wordpress. Either way everything was gone when I checked it a while back so I decided it was time to start afresh, seeing as I was planning on changing the website’s appearance anyway (which will be done once i’ve finished it).
